Colorado Electricians – Online Course

All Colorado-licensed Residential Wireman, Journeyman, and Master Electricians must complete 24 hours of Continuing Education (CE) during each three-year license period before they may renew their license. This requirement does not apply for the first renewal of the license for which, as a condition of issuance, the applicant successfully completed a licensing examination.
CE hours must be selected from among the Core Competencies listed below:

• Grounding and Bonding

• National Electrical Code Changes

• Wiring Methods

• Theory and Calculations

• Safety Related to the Electrical Industry

A minimum of 4 hours is required in National Electrical Code Changes.

The courses below are approved by the state of Colorado. Once you complete a course, you will be able to instantly print your certificate of completion.

How does this course work?
To complete our online courses, you just need to follow these simple steps:

1. Purchase the courses that you would like complete.

2. Use the course(s) registration link and code in your receipt or receipt that is emailed to you.

3. Log in to your online course portal, and complete your courses at your own pace. You may start and stop the courses as often as you’d like, and your progress will be saved.

4. Pass the final exam. Don’t worry- you can take the final exam as many times as needed.

5. Download your certificate of completion for your records.

Yes, once you pass the continuing education course, you will be able to immediately print your certificate in the learning system.

Can I take the courses on my phone?
Yes. Our Colorado continuing education courses are mobile compatible.

Do you offer any live, in-person continuing education training in Colorado?
We do not currently offer live training in this state. We find that most students prefer to complete their courses on their phone, tablet or computer.
