Virginia Professional Engineers

Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements

Virginia engineers are required to complete 16 PDH every other year based on the month your license was issued.

The state Board does not approve continuing education providers or courses. However, the courses must have a “clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s field of practice.”  There also must be an assessment by the continuing education provider at the conclusion of the activity to verify that the individual has achieved the purpose and objective of the continuing education activity.  All of our courses provide a final exam which requires a 70% of greater to pass the course.

There is no limit to the number of hours that can be earned through online or correspondence courses.  No hours may be carried forward into the next renewal period.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE:  If the state Board rejects one of our courses for any reason, you get a FULL refund.  No questions asked.  Simply provide a copy of the rejection letter issued to you by your State Licensing Board.
