Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements

Texas engineers are required to complete 15 PDH every year, including 1 PDH of ethics. The deadline is based on your date of original licensure (see chart below).

The state board does not approve continuing education providers or courses. However, the courses must have a “clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s field of practice.”

There is no limit to the number of hours that can be completed through online or correspondence courses. A maximum of 14 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE:  If the state Board rejects one of our courses for any reason, you get a FULL refund. No questions asked. Simply provide a copy of the rejection letter issued to you by your State Licensing Board.
