Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements
Ohio engineers are required to complete 30 PDH every biennial renewal cycle. The expiration date is December 31 of odd-numbered years.
The state Board does not approve continuing education courses or providers. There is no limit to the number of hours that can be completed through online courses. A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.
