Nebraska Professional Engineers

Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements

Nebraska engineers are required to complete 30 PDH every biennial renewal period.  Here are their unique rules:

  • For engineers involved in a mandatory continuing education program in another state, the Nebraska Board only requires that the engineer meet the requirements of the other state board.
  • For engineers NOT involved in a mandatory continuing education program in another state, the Nebraska Board requires 30 actual hours of engineering learning. The Nebraska Board does not specify the types of activities that are acceptable, only that “one actual hour of learning means at least fifty (50) minutes spent in verifiable educational pursuit.”

There is no limit to the number of hours that can be completed through online courses.  A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE:  If the state Board rejects one of our courses for any reason, you get a FULL refund.  No questions asked.  Simply provide a copy of the rejection letter issued to you by your State Licensing Board.
