Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements

Mississippi engineers are required to complete 15 PDH every year by December 31st. 1 PDH must be earned in Ethics training every two years. Courses must have a clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the registrant’s field of practice in engineering.

You may take all of your hours from online or correspondence courses. A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period. Excess ethics PDH may not be carried forward.

Online/Correspondence There is no limit on the number of hours that can be earned through online or correspondence courses.
