Iowa Professional Engineers

Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements

Iowa engineers are required to earn 30 PDH every other year ending on December 31 depending on the date of initial license.  The Board does not approve specific courses or providers.  They require the course taken to have "clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s field of practice.”

Iowa limits online or correspondence courses to a maximum of 10 PDH per renewal period.  A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE:  If the state Board rejects one of our courses for any reason, you get a FULL refund.  No questions asked.  Simply provide a copy of the rejection letter issued to you by your State Licensing Board.
