Oregon Online Courses

General Supervising Electricians (S) and General Journeyman Electricians are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every 3 years. Click here for the due dates and specific hour requirements for all license types in Oregon.

These courses are approved by the state of Oregon. Once you complete a course, we will report your hours to the Oregon Building Codes Division.

How does this course work?
To complete our online courses, you just need to follow these simple steps:

1. Purchase the courses that you would like complete.
2. Use the course(s) registration link and code in your receipt or receipt that is emailed to you.
3. Log in to your online course portal, and complete your courses at your own pace. You may start and stop the courses as often as you’d like, and your progress will be saved.
4. Pass the final exam. Don’t worry- you can take the final exam as many times as needed.
5. Download your certificate of completion for your records.
6. AEI will report your hours to the state board on the following business day after course completion.

Yes, we report all continuing education results to the state on a daily basis.

Do you provide me with a certificate of completion when I finish the course?
Yes, once you pass the continuing education course, you will be able to immediately print your certificate in the learning system.

Can I take the courses on my phone?
Yes. Our Oregon continuing education courses are mobile compatible.

Do you offer any live, in-person continuing education training in Oregon?
We do not currently offer live training in this state. We find that most students prefer to complete their courses on their phone, tablet or computer.
