Frequently Asked Questions

Do you report my hours to the Oregon Building Codes Division?
Yes, we report all continuing education results to the Oregon Building Codes Division on a daily basis (not weekends).

I have my answer sheet from the book that you mailed me all filled out. What do I do next?
You need to pay for the course by using the “BUY NOW” buttons above. You can also call us at 855-780-5046 and we can take your credit card information over the phone. Once you have paid, you can either email us or fax us your answer sheets. It usually takes us 3-5 business days to grade your answer sheets.

Do you provide me with a certificate of completion when I finish the course?
Yes. Once you complete and pass the continuing education course, we will email you the completion certificate.

What do I do with my certificate of completion?
The certificate is for your records. We will submit the hours to the state for you.

Do you renew my Oregon license for me?
No. After you complete your continuing education, you will need to pay the Oregon Building Codes Division the renewal fee, as we cannot do that for you.

Do you offer any continuing education training that is not online or correspondence?
We only offer online and correspondence continuing education courses in Oregon. We do not offer any classroom continuing education courses in Oregon. We find that most students prefer to complete their courses on their computer, smartphone or tablet.

If I purchase one of your online Oregon continuing education packages, can I complete one of the courses now and the other courses during the next renewal?
Yes. As long as our courses are active (and not expired), you can complete the courses over multiple renewal periods.

I received one of your Oregon electrical continuing education books in the mail. Can I use these hours for next renewal period or do I need to use them for my current electrical license renewal period?
Oregon electrical continuing education courses expire every 3 years. So our 2017 NEC code courses will expire on October 1, 2020.

What if I still have questions about completing my electrical continuing education?
No problem. Just call our continuing education specialists at 855-780-5046 or email us at electricalceu@gmail.com.
