Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements
Arkansas Professional Engineers are required to earn 30 PDH biennially in courses that have a “clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s field of practice.”
The Arkansas Board does not approve continuing education providers. It is the responsibility of the engineer to complete courses by CE providers which meet the Board’s requirements.
A maximum of 30 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.
Dual License: Dual licensees are required to earn 40) PDH biennially, with at least 10 earned in each profession. The remaining 20 may be obtained in either
profession.
A maximum of 40 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period (no more than 30 in either profession).
