Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements

Utah engineers are required to complete 30 PDH every other year. The deadline is March 31 of odd-numbered years.

The state board does not approve continuing education providers or courses. However, the courses must have an “identifiable clear statement of purpose and defined objective for the educational program directly related to the practice of a professional engineer.”

There is no limit to the number of hours “for continuing education that is provided via internet or through home study courses provided the course verifies registration and participation in the course by means of a test which demonstrates that the participant has learned the material presented.” All of our courses require a passing score of 70% on the final exam.

A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE:  If the state Board rejects one of our courses for any reason, you get a FULL refund. No questions asked. Simply provide a copy of the rejection letter issued to you by your State Licensing Board.
