Professional Development Hour (PDH) Requirements
Maine engineers are required to take 30 PDH every 2 years ending on December 31 of odd-numbered years.
The state Board does not approve continuing education providers or courses. They require each course to cover material that is technical, ethical or managerial related to your engineering practice. The Board allows all hours to be earned through online or correspondence courses.
A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.
